Common Questions

Quick answers to the most common issues.

First, make sure you're using the email address associated with your Rāi account. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen — you'll receive a reset email within a few minutes.

If you don't receive the reset email, check your spam folder. If the issue persists, contact us using the form below and include the email address you're trying to log in with.

Data in Rāi is pulled from your connected platforms (POS, reservation systems, scheduling, etc.). If data is missing or not updating, try the following:

  • Pull down to refresh the screen in the app
  • Log out and log back in
  • Check that your connected integrations are active in your account settings

If data has been missing for more than 24 hours, send us a message below and we'll investigate on our end.

A few things to try before reaching out:

  • Force-close the app and reopen it
  • Make sure you're running the latest version — check the App Store or Google Play for updates
  • Restart your device
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection

If you continue to experience crashes, use the form below to tell us what device you're using, what iOS/Android version you're on, and what you were doing when it happened. That helps us track it down fast.

Tip reports are available from the My Tips tab in the mobile app. You can view your earnings by date range and see a full breakdown of how tips were calculated and distributed.

If your tip reports are not appearing or showing incorrect amounts, please contact your manager first — tip data flows directly from your POS system and any discrepancies are resolved at the restaurant level.

Check that notifications are enabled for Rāi in your device settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Notifications → Rāi → Allow Notifications
  • Android: Settings → Apps → Rāi → Notifications → Allow

Also make sure you're running the latest version of the app. If notifications are enabled but still not arriving, send us a message and we'll look into it.

You can update your name, email, and password from the Profile section in the app. Tap your avatar or name in the navigation to access your profile settings.

If you need to update your email address or have lost access to your account entirely, reach out to us using the form below and we'll sort it out.

User management is handled at the operator or admin level. If you're a manager or owner, new users can be added from the Users section in your account settings.
